Shoutout Saturday!

Happy Saturday everyone! This week we’re going to be talking about the Center for Avian Rehabilitation & Education, Inc - recently rebranded to CARE: Center for Animal Rehab & Education, Inc.

CARE is a nonprofit rehabilitation facility and organization located in Waukesha Wisconsin! They specialize in exotic birds, giving them a permanent home when they are unable to live in a typical home. They also take in older dogs, and other small animals with the goal of giving them a safe, loving place to live!

To pay for their facility, they rely heavily on private donations, they also have a shop where they sell bird and dog related toys, beds, and other merchandise! CARE also offers bird grooming the first Saturday of every month and has even been featured in a book called, Life With Ben written by Jessica Hagedorn! CARE receives 10% of all sales from this book, helping them to keep their amazing facility working smoothly for the benefit of all animals!
