Everyone, meet Meeko and Rascal!

A pest control company found these two in someone’s attic. After a quick call to us, they safely arrived for some much-needed loving and feeding! After we warmed them up, we weighed them and then gave them each a syringe of ringers lactate solution. This starts the hydration process; once they get approximately 5% of their body weight of the RL solution, we can start to give them some electrolytes and some fox valley formula!

A big thing to remember is not to feed injuries or orphaned wildlife! In most cases, if you feed them the wrong thing or do it when they have a low body temperature, it’ll lead to death.

I’m so excited to have some furry friends around the farm, especially at this age! I love how playful they are and promise some more Meeko and Rascal content once they’re feeling 100%!
